I agree with filmflam's praise. This is a fabulous sounding collection of the Boswell SIsters. They led the way in feminine, sexy and sweet harmony in jazz singing. Coming out of vaudeville, they were performers used to the stage. Being from New Orleans helped shape their jazz intergrity. They were gifted musicians, too.

All volumes of this collection are beautifully re-mastered and they greatly enhance the wonderful journey "musicwoman" offers you to survey the recording careers of Connee, Martha and Vet. This is terrific stuff and a treat for all ears. The commercial recordings are supplemented with soundtrack and radio transcription clips which allow the listener to gain even deeper perspective on the art of the Boswells. I urge you to listen to the entire set of volumes -- you'll be anything but disappointed.
